Hey tigers! I like how this podcast started off as a Sgt. Kabukiman review but ended up being a Batman retrospective. Haha! Now it got me thinking…who would win in a fight Batman vs. Kabukiman?! What started off as a dumb brain firing while taking a Flamin’ Hot Cheetos shit and going cross-eyed, turned into a harder question than I thought. They’re kind of similar in a lot of ways and more equal once you start breaking it down. This is probably the dumbest question posed in the history of America, but who do you think would win, Kabukiman or Batman?

I kind of share similar feelings Will, Sgt. Kabukiman is awesome and fun and stupid, but it always felt a bit lacking. And I’m surprised you enjoyed it a lot Stephen! So I’m wondering now if Will and I have a harder time seeing it for what it is and go in with expectations of seeing 90 minutes of head stomps and tits like other Troma movies. But since Stephen hasn’t seen more Troma, you can probably enjoy it easier. I like tits. I like head stomps. And I felt it was lacking that. But maybe you’re right when you say that it didn’t really need it. I felt like a dumb ogre that realized he doesn’t have to smash every door to get through it. I let out a curious monstrous grunt to think, “Bobo not always need tit? But Bobo like tit.” I always thought Sgt. Kabukiman was too odd to be for general audiences, but too tame for Troma fans. But it’s enjoyable as just it’s own little odd movie and it’s been hard for me to see it that way sometimes. Either way, Sgt. Kabukiman has one of the greatest end title songs ever so I like it. It’s so good and catchy!

Gotta cut this one short! It’s busy as balls lately. Coincidentally I’m working on a Sgt. Kabukiman mask right now for a cosplayer gal who’s going to meet Lloyd Kaufman at a convention! There’s Kabukiman shit going on everywhere right now. Thanks for the shout-out too and I’m looking forward to the conclusion of Tony Jaa-nuary!

    Smooches! <3
