Ouch! I hope your knee gets better, dude.
I didn’t really have much else to say, so I guess you’ll just have to pretend that I said something deep and witty that was worth talking about.
But I do think you need to continue your first take pronunciation of foreign names on the podcast. It’s a tradition at this point, and much more entertaining than doing it right. Also, you should keep up the Italian pronunciation of these things, too. That shit was funny as hell.
As a side note, since I brought it up, I should tell you that Japanese has few to no stressed syllables, which sounds odd to us westerners. And all the vowels in Patema are pronounced as they are in “father.” The English dub of course will do things a tad different.
Actually, I thought of something in regards to you mentioning pinball. I’m afraid I’ve never been a fan of pinball. That might be because my only exposure to the game as a kid was with the Atari, which had the single most dull version of pinball I have ever seen. It wasn’t until arcades were a thing of the past that I found out just how insane and over the top pinball machines could be. Maybe I would have liked them better if I hadn’t grown up knowing only this:

I think the screenshot on that page is literally 100% of the game. Needless to say, it got pretty boring, pretty fast.
