I’m on a Podcast — LAMBcast #249: The Hobbit Trilogy

It’s that time again! Yesterday, I made my 2nd appearance on the LAMBcast, this time to take about Peter Jackson’s Hobbit films. They’re near and dear to my heart, but it always seems like everyone else is less forgiving of them, so I went in ready to defend them. Turns out I didn’t really need to, as everyone on the show actually likes the series. Imagine that! I guess they wouldn’t have signed up for the show if they hated the films, but you never know. I’ll have a written review up as soon as I can get it done. Maybe later today or tomorrow. Anyway, give the pod a listen and enjoy!

If you want to do that, I’ve embedded it below! If you wanna subscribe to the show or listen on a portable device you can head to iTunes, or PodOmatic (and for convenience’s sake those links will take you right to the respective LAMBcast page on each service). And don’t forget to subscribe to the show if you like it!

As always, I love feedback, so if you listen to the show let me know what you think! Thanks for listening!

I’m on a Podcast! — LAMBcast #236: Movies from Our Birth Years

So I did my first podcast! It went well I thought, even if I completely botched my pitch/description for Bewitched, one of my favorite HK movies ever. I’m so ashamed of myself.

Anyway, if you couldn’t tell from the post title, the show is all about movies from our birth years. I was born in 1981, so I was tasked with coming up with my Top Five Favorites from that year. Everyone else on the show (Jay Cluitt, Dan Heaton, Joel Burman, & Bubbawheat) was born in a different year, too, so there’s a whole lot of movies from the ’70s and ’80s briefly discussed.

If you want to listen to the show, the LAMBcast can be found on iTunes if you search for LAMBcast. Or if you feel like listening to it right here, right now, then click this link and away you’ll go into a magical land of mystery! Or not. Click the link and find out!

And as always, I love feedback, so if you listen to the show let me know what you think! And feel free to tell me I’ve got it all wrong about 1981 or share your thoughts on your Top Five from Your Birth Year, as well!

Thanks for listening!
