Expectations: Low, I remember being very disappointed in this.
Like Puppet Master II yesterday, Toy Story 2 does everything it can to one-up the previous film and give the audience more of everything they loved. While this worked for Puppet Master II and led to a better overall film, Toy Story 2 actually comes out worse for wear, still managing to be a great, fun movie, but one that doesn’t quite reach as high as the near-perfect Toy Story. Regardless of comparison, if you liked the first one, you’re sure to enjoy this one as well.
