I love horror films. I love them so much that I devote every October here at Silver Emulsion to nothing but them! As with my tastes in all film, my tastes in horror are rather eclectic, so the films selected are a strange mix of the known and the unknown.
This fourth year didn’t turn out as I’d planned, but it still offered a lot of horrific delights. My idea was to recreate a similar sort of freewheelin’ month like last October, but it ended up morphing into its own thing. I tried to hit some more recent horror films, as well as scratching off a few movies that had been on my list for years. Stephen also delivered some fun, offbeat selections from Japan.
