I love horror films. I love them so much that I devote every October here at Silver Emulsion to nothing but them! As with my tastes in all film, my tastes in horror are rather eclectic, so the films selected are a strange mix of the known and the unknown.
This inaugural year’s focus was on the films of Empire/Full Moon, the early films of Dario Argento, Uncle Jasper delivered a helping of Santo delights, and we tag-teamed some Hong Kong horror films from the Shaw Brothers studio. We also visited Burbank’s Weekend of Horrors and wrote up some reports from the day’s events!
